I saw the following quote in someone's signature:
KOLB is a natural born leader - something the Eagles haven't had on offense in a long long time. Prediction, we win a SB in the next 3 years.
I am curious as to everyone's opinion of this statement. From my perspective, it begs the question "What has he done as a pro to show he is a natural born leader?" Also, what has he done that McNabb didn't do that makes him more of a leader than McNabb was? The talk amongst this site is refreshing from the standpoint that it shows the national slant on Philly fans' lack of appreciation for #5 was overblown. However, quotes like this are why that opinion is formed.
I hope Kolb goes on to be better than McNabb ever was and leads us to many rings. I hope he outplays him on the field and that his stats make McNabb look like Ryan Leaf. I am all-in on the Kolb bandwagon and have faith in the decision made by the FO. That being said, McNabb was the best QB this franchise has ever known. He led a team that dominated the CONFERENCE for a decade, and he did it without the weapons and with all teams knowing he was going to throw the ball. How can you say that Kolb is something the Eagles haven't had on offense in a long time?
I wanted to get everyone else's pulse on this. What do you guys think?
