DeSean Jackson injured
It was all the way across the field from where I am, but it looked to me like his right leg. Others here seem to think he was holding his back. He was helped to the sideline and then carted off to the locker room. Update: Definitely a back injury... "Still being evaluated."

Don't you think that it is odd...

That's using your dipstick, Jimmy!
(I used the same quote when some made up the rumor of some guy in green spandex being seen running across the field when Dez when down). Glad both Dez and Desean will be okay.
I have a diagnosis...
…it’s called “Pay the fucking man.”

Nope
can’t pay him until the TEAM can structure his deal in a way that protects them and the TEAMS salary cap. Giving him a huge guaranteed signing bonus only benefits DeSean bank roll. Having it properly structured protects the team in case of injury or complacence. And helps keep DeSean motivated while paying him what he deserves.

Depends
My brother and I both get back spasms. I’m usually okay after a few minutes, though I can’t do much more than try not to throw during the spasm. He is sometimes incapacitated for an entire today. To be fair though, my brother is a bit of a pantywaist.

so it's my fault #10 got hurt?
If I didn’t do it, someone else would have
He’s young, he’ll bounce back, it didn’t sound like it was paralizing, we don’t even know how serious it is yet
If I didn’t do it, someone else would have
I really, really doubt someone else would’ve laugh at Dez Bryant’s injury and/or say Cowboys fan were OK with JJ’s death.
Fail’d
RIP Jim Johnson, best ever.
Agreed
I understand there are people out there who are going to laugh or be amused by the injury. But to ever say someone was ok with a death is too much

I didn't say that
I didn’t say they were ok with his death, I said a sigh of relief
JJ’s defense beat on them for a decade, the man was/is a legend. You can’t tell me somewhere in dallas someone didn’t say or think " Sucks that the man is dead, but hopefully the eagles D is gonna suck now".
and yes, many others laughed at his injury. I mean to dis Roy Williams like that, then to go and get hurt before you ever play a real game? Ha, hahaha HA! Thats funny in my opinion
Please go to the Blogging the Boys website and do a search.
NO ONE laughed, anywhere, at any time, about Johnson’s death. We did wonder whether your defense would be affected (only in the football sense), but no one was “happy” about his passing. Period. Anyone who did or does become happy about injuries or deaths fails the basic litmus test for humanity.
i didnt say any of that
I said “a sigh of relief”
"and yes, many others laughed at his injury"
That’s what I was replying to. I didn’t see anyone that I would willingly associate with laugh at his death.
And I didn’t see anyone being “relieved” at his death either. It was a tragedy. We took it as such.
Frankly we were suprised at how his lack seemed to affect your defense. We had expected more of the same, though with a bit of a learning curve.
Regardless, can we just agree not to cheer on any injuries or deaths in anyone’s organization?
the laughing
Was at dez, not jj
I was simply making a joke about the irony between his little incident with Roy Williams, and then he gets injured before he ever even plays a game.
His injury is not a life threatening injury, just an inconvenience. But no, I can not agree, not to ever laugh at an injury. If I don’t like you, I will laugh when you get hurt.
Then there's a difference between us.
I would never do so, nor will I ever teach or allow my children to do so. I can’t see it as anything other than spitefulness and hatred. And this is where we wil lhave to part ways.
oh i see
So you hate nothing? Hate is a little strong for my feelings toward dez, but give him time. T.o., my ex wife, and people who stop at yield signs when no one is coming and they had their own damn lane anyway, those are a few of the people I hate. Most Christians hate Jews for killing jesus, most Muslims hate, well, everyone else. So I would have to say it it more common to hate then not to.
man
i had a lengthy post about how dumb a comparison all those things are, and about how as a psci dude i don’t like coming to this blog and having to read bullshit like that.
Then I remembered that you’re a troll, and feeding the troll is never good.

I am no troll, I had to read it to see the real definition, but no, I was not off topic, and I was not trying to provoke your emotional response. I was simply expressing my own opinion.

I hate nothing
well losing but thats a moment of more regret than hate. I literally hate nothing. It’s a wasted emotion that takes more of a toll on you than on what/who you hate. I say it’s better to to speak your mind or just politely invite people to duke it out. It gets out the tension at the moment of its inception. And yes I condone healthy fair fisticuffs. Aggression in its early stages can be exhausted out. Let it fester and it can twist you all up inside.

for laughing at another man’s injury.
I don’t deny that I have problems, but have you ever seen America’s Funniest Home Videos? It’s filled with videos of people getting injured and some with near death experiences. So aparently, I am not alone in thinking that it is possible for an injury to be funny.
They are 21 seasons strong now
AFHV finished the 2009-2010 season at the 55th rank, with an approximate average of 7.52 million viewers, and finished in 69th in viewers 18-49, with 2.0/6.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/America%27s_Funniest_Home_Videos
yeah but all those people want to get laughed
as well as them laughing right after it in the videos. 99% of the time in the video the person getting hurt will get up and start laughing.

That was the other thing I was thinking ...
… like damn, I know hammies get pulled in camp pretty frequent, and wide receiver prima donnas are always missing camp, but Bryant/Harvin/DJax … that’s too much.

Per PFT
Adam Schefter of ESPN and Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer both have sources saying the injury isn’t serious. McLane writes that “DeSean walked out of the locker room on his own, got into his car and sped away without comment.”

whats diva about that? Action Jackson has been nothing but classy. So after he gets “carted off” he shows everyone hes ok by hoping in his ride and drives off into the sunset…. The Fonz didn’t say much either

Glad it looks
like he is gonna be alright. Initial reaction was, damn!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then after a 30 seconds I was actually not that worried. I feel we have a good enough receiver corp regardless. Yeah we wouldn’t be able to replace the playmaking ability of DJax but I still think we would be more then competitive without him. But it’s good that it is looking like it was minor and he’ll be alright.
