last year at this time when we had all our issues. Tell me there wasn’t a sigh of relief in Dallas when the great JJ passed? Didn’t we cheer when they picked up our virus in TO? I still have an audio recording of him crying “that’s my quater back, thats my team mate” on my phone.
I don’t cheer cause the man’s hurt, I cheer for Dallas misfortune…..
This still is pretty low..
not to mention if you thought it out you might consider the fact it doesnt help the Eagles much at all. He’ll be back for the start of the regular season and by the time we play the Cowboys he will have already had a bunch of games back to hit his stride. They have enough weapons without him this wont equal any new losses on their schedule. Basically there is nothing to even consider as helpful… so you are being an ass for cheering an injury.

To them getting to and jj passing, I was just stating that they were hardships each team faced recently. They were in no way equal.

For the record, I think JJ was an all time top 3 DC. The man could call a game and he always seem to have an ace(read blitz) up his sleve to stop a 4th quarter rally.

Not at JJ’s actual death, but I did find a posting on BTB where “Terry” was talking about how crappy our defense is gonna be now, and how we must be crapping ourselves. And another where “NDCowboy8” says that he “should be glad that such a great defensive mind won’t be coaching a rival” even though he was sad.
I’m not saying that this is the mindset of all cowboy fans, I’m just saying that I was right and that there was a sigh of relief in some fans.
I was actually suprised that it wasn’t easier to find something. So kudos to to cowboys fans for making that difficult.

anyone was happy with his death, nor did they laugh, nor did they cheer. I said sigh of relief, and there was. Not by everyone, but by some.
I know it was before he passed. They were relieved that his injury brought him to a level where he couldn’t participate as much as before.

Jim Johnson was a huge reason for the Eagles success in the past 10 years. I hope and pray he makes a full recovery and get to see him coach again sometime soon.

- Pelting opposite fans with snow balls?
There’s a problem with generalizations, in pretty much most of the scenarios you’re being unfair with most of the fanbase.
If you try, will you find a Cowboys fan laughing that DeSean Jackson injured his back? Sure. A fan that sighed at Jimmy Johnson’s demise? Sure. Are they welcomed in the Cowboys blog? No, they aren’t. This blogs around this SBNation have high standards.

just to inform you guys of the injury. I hadn’t seen any postings of it yet on this site, and thought I’d just pass it along with a tid bit of my twisted sense of humor. Its rather nice to see Dallas with a little bit of misfortune after the hellatious preseason we had last year. (Dez’s lil ankle sprain in no way compares before I get but raped for that comment.)
That;s the wrong way to look at it small bugger. JasonB is not a dictator, he is a moderator. He knows that we will police these guys when they do hit us with some shit like this. He lets up knowing that after a little bit it will be pushed out and not thought of. Jason B will step in if it gets way out of hand only. This is definately not way out of hand so he is approaching this right. We informed this kid of his mistake and now all we can do is see if he learns from it.

Don’t cheer for injuries – because injuries are a part of sports and can hit were it hurts the most.
