Tommy McDonald is awesome. I met him at a Comcast event at the Linc a few years ago, and let my wife and I (and a bunch of other fans) pass the rings around and even try them on.
Definitely one of the nicest retired athletes I’ve ever met.
I got to talk with him for a while
He was telling me how he used to hang out with John Wayne after he was traded to the LA Rams. Really nice guy who seems to have a bunch of cool stories.
