Only four eagles wideouts have caught an nfl pass (Jackson,Maclin,Avant,and Baskett) all the others are rookies or last years practice squad wideouts. The starters are Jackson and Maclin and Avant will be third Baskett will be fourth the other positions will be decided by end of preseason with the lack of experience it makes Kevin Kolbs job harder to work with rookies, 2nd year ,and 3rd year guys. the most experienced WR is Jason Avant even though Hank Baskett was drafted in the same year Avant has been much more productive.

this is a great recieving corp
but you have to remember norwood caught a ball last year I believe.
Also, Baskett isn’t a lock to make the team, I would personally take Riley Cooper over Baskett, and give the fifth WR spot to Chad Hall
Having 4 young guys that have caught an NFL pass, paired up with our young new QB doesnt seem like much of a problem to me. Especially considering that each of them has proven very reliable.
Kolb hasnt ever been a full time NFL starter…should we look into a trade? Maybe that guy from the Redskins is available? He has some experience.

I think God is the obvius top choice for best deeity this season. He’s had a really gud long run at the top and I don’t see that coming to an end. But I think this is the year that Buda beats him for the top spot. Buda is by far the most best, but God is too. I would keep an eye on Allah and Chuck Norrs too. There all real good.

Is awsome The best I belive that Jackson and maclin start with avant and cooper as backups then Norwood will take the finnal spot if we keep 6 then Hall makes it. baskit just sucks he contributed to the colts loseing the super bowl last year

But is there anyone else who wants Baskett on this team as a WR5 for special teams purposes? He’s a proven special teamer, who really made just one mistake on a surprise onside kick that just happened to be on a really big stage and has been crucified for it all offseason.

I’m pulling for Riley Cooper. I think he will make the roster, he is faster than Hank, has played three years of special teams for UFL, and is just a better all around athlete. You just never know with rookies though, one bad attitude situation and he will get cut. But’ he can catch the fade, and man I look forward to having that play back in our playbook.
Imagine a play that every NFL team uses, but the Eagles. It is now something that has to be respected. If Ingrim can pull it off, or Coop or even god forbid Hank, at least we have that weapon back in our arsenal.
