Around SBN: What If This Is It For The Celtics? End Of An Era Looming

The Eagles visit the Bengals in week two of the preseason. Friday, August 20th to be exact. While I don't think Eagles fans are particularly concerned with TO anymore, especially with McNabb gone, it still would have been fun to have this game at the Linc.

Atleast he didn’t end up in Washington, I’m not sure what he has left in the tank however it’s nice to know what may be the best WO left in the FA market is not in the division. Also I’m just wondering what’s the over / under on unsportsmenlike conduct flags he and Ocho will combine for.

Hey Dez, it's 2am do you know where your mother is?

Meh, I wouldn’t have minded TO on the Skins. I mean, McNabb… TO… Tell me that wouldn’t be fascinating.

It would be fun to watch in Oakland not Washington

I agree, it would be somewhat entertaining to watch and anticipate when the relationship begins to sour, however the last time they were together Owens was 77/1200 with 14 TD in 14 games. He may be on the very twilight of his career, but I have this eerie feeling that if he were to go to Washington, he would post a 1,000 yard 10 TD season and be a prime catalyst in the Skins scraping into the playoffs. Maybe that is the pessimistic Eagles fan in me talking, but I would be willing to bet that if TO was to go to the ’Skins, his over/under for yardage would be at least 1,000, and his TD total 8.

LOL!

So…

Ocho, TO and Antonio Bryant together, on the same team? Those could be the 3 biggest divas in football and they’re all on the same team? I almost feel bad for Carson.

And did anyone else notice that they’ve reunited Pac Man Jones, Tank Johnson and TO? That didn’t work out so hot in Dallas.

lol...i missed your crazy assertions

Jerry Rice—197 receiving TDs
T.O—144 receiving TDs

only 54 left to break the record! (more than 1/3 of the TDs he’s already scored)

At 36 there’s no chance on earth he’ll break the record.

Jason

Are you actually trying to argue with JIBTA? You have to know you can only be wrong, wrong, wrong. JIBTA says TO will break that record and so it shall happen, if it hasn’t happened already.

Welcome back JIBTA.

bs

14 this year with chad .. that puts him at 158 .. and needs only 40 more in 5 seasons

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. TO’s gonna play to 41? He couldn’t even get a deal done with a team before the start of training camps at 36, and that was with the WR hungry Bucs and Rams out there. TO might be in great shape and might even have the ability to play well into his 40’s, but his antics have soured most teams and no other team out there is willing to take on problem children like the Bengals. This is simply a move to try and get them farther into the play offs and if it doesn’t work TO probably won’t sign with someone until Late August next year. Jerry Rice’s TD record is probably the most secure thing on this planet.

um

if he catches 14 tds this year he will have plenty of suitors .. cuz he had to play with shit qbs like edwards and fitz ppl think hes done .. hes not .. he wasnt even that bad last year .. and the year before he was clearly top 10 in nfl .. the bengals stold a double digit td guy

14? What Ochocinco won’t get targeted or bryant? Dude Cin is now a run first team, I don’t care who their receivers are. They made playoffs behind that run first mentality, why would they go away from it?

Antonio Bryant is apparently already wearing number 81…that should be a fun situation to watch.

RIP Jim Johnson, best ever.
