Can Kolb Be The Next Aaron Rodgers?

It was Aaron Rodgers vs. Brett Favre all over again. With the Philadelphia Eagles looking to move forward and to their future with a trade of their veteran quarterback to the Washington Redskins, they turned to their young quarterback who had been waiting in the wings.
The only question is, can Kevin Kolb make the kind of fantasy impact in his first year that Aaron Rodgers did when Green Bay traded Favre in 2008?Unlikely, but it’s hard to deny that the potential is definitely there. And really, arguably more-so than it was for Rodgers.
Green Bay was still a pass-first team with great offenses weapons, but their offensive line was (and still is) a bit shaky, and it’s extremely arguable that Kolb is walking into an offense with much more explosive passing options.

I’m getting tired of Kolb-Rodgers comparisons. If Kolb is going to be like any QBs, he’s probably going to be Kurt Warner – can’t throw it 70 yards down field but can put zip on the ball, highly accurate, high risks/high mentality, throws bunch of TD’s and yards with bunch of picks.

agreed. Kolb reminds me a ton of Brees.
Not that he is as good, but his game is built on quick short throws and accuracy. He should be a huge Fantasy player, I would have him top 7 QB fantasy wise. I would pick him as a sleeper in the forth round or so.

And since the article talks about “Fantasy impact” Kolb will have a worse impact. He will throw more picks. Im still going to try and pick him up but still tired article is tired

ehh. Being as I have shitty dial up I will most likely just have a draft board pre set so any time is good by me. If I can figure out a way to access a good computer with all the necessary downloads, then I will attempt to attend. Figure it out amongst the others though. 6 leagues huh? only thing i see there is Green Bay is pass first, Grant maybe not so much. Felix Jones is going to get more carries this year he might be a better choice.
