Eagles offensive coordinator praises Michael Vick, saying the quarterback is 'back' - latimes.com
"In our mini-camps you could see the great, great athleticism," Mornhinweg said. "And so I think he's back, and he's back because he's put in all the hard work. "I would expect him to be an even bigger influence on our offense and our football team this year. He has a year under his belt. He knows our expectations. He's in great shape physically. So I would expect great things from Michael Vick this year. He's going to be on the field."
Paul Domowitch: Eagles to new QB Kolb: Go West (Coast), young man | Philadelphia Daily News | 07/23/2010
"We will be different," offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg said. "You always play to your [quarterback's] strengths. Kevin is a quick decision-maker. He typically throws a ball on time with accuracy. "Donovan, there's no question he had one of the stronger arms, maybe of all time. He could make the brilliant play. Kolb is very, very consistent."
Eagles counting on Cole as their starting center | Philadelphia Inquirer | 07/23/2010
Much of the offense's success depends on the team finding a capable replacement for Jamaal Jackson, the anchor of the offensive line who is recovering from tearing his anterior cruciate ligament on Dec. 27. Jackson will miss all of training camp and is widely expected to sit out at least some, if not most, of the regular season.

OK I admit
I know nothing about the Xs and Os of a pro style offense such as the very intricate And Reid WCO… And I could be wrong, but I feel the offense did not play into Donovan’s strength either that the execution wasn’t there towards the end of his career there.
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!
Let me help.
By the end of Donovan’s time here, our offense didn’t look, schematically speaking, too much like a “traditional” WCO. Honestly, while we still used the WCO language and used some traditional WCO route combinations underneath, throwing the stardard WCO wasn’t Donovan’s strength. And EvilBanner writing all the Haiku in the world won’t change the fact that Reid isn’t an idiot. He played to Donovan’s strengths, which was blasting the ball downfield. We had evolved to a much more vertical, protection-based passing game.
With Kolb you’ll likely see more of the traditional WCO.

It has changed it all.
Reid and Banner read my words
And will retire.
Don’t worry, DSmith
We will get a good coach soon.
We’ll miss you, Andy!
...But if he pulls the rug on his quarterback, Reid must do it knowing that he let McNabb down more than McNabb ever let him down.

I think that was a veiled criticism of McNabb by Mornhinweg
he’s basically saying that Kolb is accurate and McNabb isn’t.
I also agree with Joe_D that the offense didn’t play to McNabb’s strength. A more vertical offense like Dallas or San Diego’s might have been better suited for him because of his arm and knack for not throwing picks.

Hey guys can you help me out, Baldinger said on NFLTA last week that Big Red has 4 Head Coaches in the league right now but I can’t remember who the 4th one is I know the first 3: Chilly, Spags, and Harbaugh.
Don’t think there is another – might only be 3

Center
is one position that I’m still very worried about. I think the absence of Jackson is a big part in why our offense was so awful in our last two games against Dallas. I hope Cole can step it up.

McNabb's arm
I have to admit McNabb has a great arm. Whenever he is healthy, he seems to throw a frozen rope 60 yards. Amazing.
I was discussing this with a friend and we tried to name what QBs had stronger ones (at least any with a real QB career). We came up with Favre and Elway, and then got stuck. Help me out. What QB, active or inactive, has ever had a better arm than MaNabb?

Well
“Any real NFL career” is wide open to interpretation.
Recent QBs who played at some point who have really big arms:
-Sexy Rexy
-Rapelisberger
-Flacco
-Cutlerfucker
-JaCarcass
-Mike Vick
-Palmer (when his legs are healthy)

The name's Cutlerfuck.
Clusterfuck-a combination of things going extremely wrong in a short period of time within the same general activity — caused by stupidity and/or ineptitude. Seeing how Cutler is a dumbass, and is inept at throwing a good ball.
DAT ASS!!

The best part of the article...
…except for the part where the whiny Banner cries and lashes out because of his toy, of course, is when the author says that I singlehandedly negate his humanity.
