Are you asking for snowballs?
why would we all the sudden run the ball more
i guess people don’t realize that we got rid of McNabb because they BELIEVE KEVIN KOLB CAN QB THIS TEAM. We didn’t run mroe when he was in here (except when we officially had the chiefs stomped). Plus, his strength is supposed to be his accuracy and quick release…oh we have qb with a skill set for our version of the WCO,,,oh lets run the ball now!!!! if that was our logic than I’m on the fire andy wagon—obviously, it’s not though

You make a good point.
I hoped andy reid would balance it a bit more, especially if it looks like kolb struggles. I don’t feel that quarterbacks should be treated like pitchers, they shouldn’t work out a cold streak by throwing more.
But reid is brilliant with qbs, and I think he was handcuffed to mcnabb. He may have wanted a more consistant qb for his system, but couldn’t because mcnabb had spurts of success. Reid had to wait for the moment.
I feel this was evidenced by the fact that reid drafted the qb he really wanted, and groomed him.
Anyone get the feeling the andy reid legacy is perhaps still yet to manifest?
I think next year, reid finally got the center piece for the team he wanted all along. Watch out, nfl.
2010-11 Predictions:
Kevin Kolb will go to the probowl and complete >65% of passes.
Jeremy Maclyn will have more receptions than Miles Austin & Steve Smith
Graham will have the starting LDE spot tied up by week 5, win ROTY, and have >10 Sacks
11-5 finish.

He'll be fine, I like the kid
He’s 25 years old, good head on his shoulders — he’s been humbled for a couple years not like these other 21-22 year old QBs who were 1-2 round draft picks (stars in college) then transition to the NFL by starting (and struggling).
I think he knows what it takes to get better and expects a lot from himself too. A blue collar guy if you will — Philly will respect him.
In any event, it’s a passing league, and if you’re going through a cold streak Kolb better get his ass in the video room and figure out a fix. That’s what the best in this business do. I wonder if McNabb was a film freak?

I think he’ll be fine too. I specifically feel that he may win a superbowl, and even multiple, under reid.
But how do you feel about reids legacy?
Do you think the best is yet to come?

I remember reading an article (might have been from Tommy L)
and he made a good point. If Reid is able to replicate the success he had under Mcnabb with Kolb (or even exceed it with a superbowl win), it would put Reid in the category of one of elite coaches of all time.
Best has yet to come?
Depends on the defense and what we can do with that. I think we have a LOT of really young talent,a nd we’ve never had that before. The other variables are when we were dominmant the nfc was pretty weak same with the nfc e..they have caught up to a good degree. we shall see

The running game.
It desperately needs to happen. I’d love a 50-50 split (when someone replaces the fatman). Without a solid running game, Kolb’s marked flaws will be exposed in a big way and the interception floodgates will open. With a solid ground game (30-35 run plays a game) and production from McCoy and Weaver, this could be a 10 win team. Without one, this is a 6-7 win team.
...But if he pulls the rug on his quarterback, Reid must do it knowing that he let McNabb down more than McNabb ever let him down.
Phil Sheridan--Philadelphia Inquirer
At one point you said we couldn't win more than 4 games with Kolb
I like the progress EB.
Graham as rookie of the year?
No shot simply because he won’t play enough especially with Tapp/Parker on the roster. Stunned if he would be starting and getting a majority of the time at LDE by even the end of Sept.
