But he is right. We saw a lot of fastballs behind the receiver, and avant is pointing out that he needs to adjust to playing full speed.
This is an adjustment.
They have to stay at full speed because mcnab had the arm strength to thread passes into closing windows, kolb does not. Kolb will need to be more antispatory (spelling?) Where as mcnabb was reactionary.
2010-11 Predictions:
Kevin Kolb will go to the probowl and complete >65% of passes.
Jeremy Maclyn will have more receptions than Miles Austin & Steve Smith
Graham will have the starting LDE spot tied up by week 5, win ROTY, and have >10 Sacks
11-5 finish.

i don’t think it was a direct shot at mcnabb, read the rest of the article. He’s just saying that kolb gets rid of the ball earlier and therefore has the space to lead his receivers. if anything it sounds like avant preferred getting bullet passes right in the numbers.
