The Linc - Darth Vermeil calls Kolb "Very Impressive"
Vermeil is impressed with Eagles' Kolb - The Delaware County Daily Times : Serving Delaware County, PA(DelcoTimes.com)
"Very impressive," Vermeil said after practice. "This is really the first time I’ve been on the field and watched just him. I went to training camp last year and he was a backup. Today I just watched him. Kenny and I were watching him. And Kolb was impressive. He is very accurate, throws a nice ball that’s very easy to catch and he keeps the receivers running when they catch it. That was impressive. Very impressive."
Jaws senses more energy with Eagles | Philly | 06/19/2010
"I've spoken to a number of players, a number of the coaches, and the one thing I sense that was probably missing over the last couple years is energy," Jaworski said during an interview with Mike Missanelli on 97.5 The Fanatic. "There's almost that little-kid enthusiasm right now within the organization because of the changes they've made.
Is new Meadowlands turf an injury issue? - NFC East Blog - ESPN
"I was right there when it happened and I saw it right away," Giants safety Antrel Rolle said. "And I was, like, 'Damn, it don't look good.' He didn't make a cut or anything. It just got caught in the turf." Said receiver Steve Smith of the turf: "I thought it was real slippery. We were all slipping and stuff. Hopefully it settles in when more people do stuff on it."

MOORESTOWN, N.J. - For a professional athlete, the most important aspects of purchasing a house are twofold.
Father's Day: Juan and Greg Castillo | Philadelphia Daily News | 06/17/2010
EACH MORNING, he'd leave his house no later than 3:15 a.m. and think nothing of it. Juan Castillo realized this was the only way he could spend time with his son. By starting work at the NovaCare Complex this early, the Eagles' offensive line coach could leave by 4:30 p.m.

Reading the Vermeil article reminded me why I wasn’t as worried about the secondary as others its because of Dick Jauron, and hopefully because of Bobby April we won’t have so many costly penalties on special teams like we did last year with Daisher as the special teams coordinator.
I’m a little worried too but it seems like other people think the secondary will be horrible next year. I loved Sheldon like everybody else but his loss isn’t as big as people think it is just because he had a career high in INT’s doesn’t mean it was his best season.
he was injured for most of the season
I would’ve rather kept Sheldon for just one more year than go into the season with Hobbs or anyone else as the starter there. Hobbs’s injury is still up in the air and anyone else after him is a ? as a legit NFL starter. But hey, I do agree that we have a much better chance to succeed with D.Jauron this year. So we’ll see how it goes.!

It’s what I been saying for a long time now. Watch all the haters jump on the band wagon when they see this on game day.
Happy Father’s Day

Joe the majority of us agreed that Kolb had those strengths.
The people argued with you because of how much you trashed Dmac.

Bullshit
Most of you kept trying to remind everyone that McNabb had a lot of success in years past and he gave us the best chance to win

Read what you wrote Joe
Where in that does it say anything about bashing Kolb. Its saying that we just thought McNabb could do better than you were giving him credit for.
Which is exactly what I said in my first comment.

I'm holding back until I see this guy in the red zone. I need to see the same TD/Int ratio that
I had from McNabb. I don’t want a “MORE ACCURATE” passer that throws pick 6’s at a crucial time in the game. I don’t give a crap if he threw 35, 5-10 yard pinpoint accurate dinks and dunks all the way down field, only to stall or throw the Ed Reed pick 6, or the N.O. Sharper pic. I’m worried about Kolb. But we will have to wait and see. Does accurate = a Super Bowl? We will find out!
This Eagles Team has a suspicious unknown nature that usually is the characteristic of a loser. I hope I'm wrong! E A G L E S EAGLES!

U aint the only one Joe!
Without going back into the whole Kolb is better the Dmac and/or vice versa…..Im just glad that most people are moving forward with this. They both have their strengths and weakness. Period. For the first time in a very long time, I feel very very excited about the upcoming season. I guess partially becuz im not expecting Superbowl this year..with good reason! If we can make it to the playoffs id feel great. Whatever happens there and beyond that, would be a great surprise!!

Here’s the listing for the McNabb house if anyone is interested.

he’s actually got a pretty nice crib.. I thought for sure it was going to be a lot more expensive, pretty modest for his salary. The onlyl thing I dont like is the asphalt shingles, u dont put shingles on a 2.5m dollar property

25k a month isn't enough Joe?
"Buy low sell high!"
He made like 120 million so far
Probably more like 65 after taxes, but I figured he’d have a 10million dollar crib for sure
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!
I'll put it this way
I worked on houses that were worth more than his and I’m almost positive they weren’t worth as much as McNabb (I didnt even estimate his jersey sales and endorsements deals either).
hey maybe McNabb is good with his $
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!
Or maybe...
the man doesn’t want the property taxes that come with a 10 million dollar house. I mean, it is NJ… Property taxes will rape you.
I wouldn't
call 25k a month or 300k a year being frugal. 300k a year for 30 years is nine million. Not including interest. But I agree that it is the norm for these guys to bankrupt themselves before 65. And 65 is being generous. You have to also take into account and it looks like McNabb did, that his prime earning years ends in 3 years max. He’ll spend more time not earning(main job) than he did working.
"Buy low sell high!"
my math is a bit off
but its round about ish
