The Linc - Trevor Laws 2.0 Bigger, Stronger, Faster
Kevin Kolb is making his own trail - NFC East Blog - ESPN
I get the feeling that Matt Mosely likes his fellow Texan Kevin Kolb.
Kolb's practice demeanor | Philadelphia Inquirer | 05/26/2010
If something bad happens on the field, Kevin Kolb grits his teeth, whereas Donovan McNabb would smile. So obviously Kolb is headed to Canton.
U-M sports blog: Brandon Graham doesn't want to be a first-round holdout | freep.com | Detroit Free Press
"I need to be here on time because I know that I have an important role," said Graham, the Eagles' first-round pick. "I don't want anybody thinking I'm better than them holding out and stuff like that. "You lose respect."
Trevor Laws, Eagles' DT, hopes to crack lineup | mycentraljersey.com | MyCentralJersey.com
"I was here the whole (winter), the whole offseason, just working out with (new strength coach) Barry Rubin here, and it really paid dividends," he said after Wednesday's minicamp inside the practice bubble at the NovaCare Complex. "I put on about 15, 20 pounds. I'm in better shape — bigger, stronger, faster. So I feel good out there."

The sports memorabilia store where an autograph session with four Philadelphia Eagles players was abruptly canceled last weekend is closing. Didinger's NFL Mailbag: Will Allen Start at FS?
When you are talking about a high draft pick – and Nate Allen was a high second-rounder – you’re not necessarily throwing him to the wolves by starting him. If he can compete – and I think Allen can – then you let him play, especially if he is better than anyone else you have at the position. Harris was more a tossing-to-the-wolves situation considering he was a fifth-round pick playing a new position. Allen is talented and poised, a nice combination. He didn’t seem fazed by moving up to the first unit and unlike some other rookies, he doesn’t appear lost on the practice field. He isn’t in over his head, not at all.

The Houston Texans have released veteran running back Ryan Moats. Moats was let go to make room for third-round rookie defensive tackle Earl Mitchell. A former Philadelphia Eagles third-round draft pick, Moats has rushed for 831 career yards and eight touchdowns.

It's so hard to judge...
…which guy is going to be the next young guy to turn it around. Last year I was thinking Demps, after year 1 and that rough NFC title game, was going to make big strides. Likewise, I remember fits of laughter at the thought that Winston Justice was going to put it all together.
So I don’t know how I feel about Laws’ chances. I hope he pulls it off.
I didn't mean
Demps had a bad year in 2008. He had a good year. I thought he was going to build on that and dominate in 2009. Didn’t happen.
I hope so too, but more importantly I hope Graham doesn’t hold out. People are upset enough we took him over Earl Thomas.. now if he holds out?

I’m not knocking the Eagles for taking Graham… just saying I hope he doesn’t hold out.

Isn't a double negative a positive?
Graham doesn’t not want to be another rookie holdout
Read that Graham article…people need to just proof read
"EFF YOU, WE'RE WINNING ANYWAY!!!!!!" (Bye, Dawk)
Or maybe Graham really plans on holding out.
And is using his Michigan education to manipulate the minds of the Eagles fan base.
I don't know what it is about your face,

but I just wanna deliver one of these right in your suck hole.
I love how every under achiever "gets bigger stronger faster"
every off season it seems like some bust lifts more weights and sheds fat… Okay but they still suck

True, but everyone once in a while a Winston Justice actually happens.

have you noticed
how Dave Spadaro tells us EVERY offseason how “fast” our team is.
It’s like he has nothing else to write, so every year during offseason practices we get to hear how ‘fast’ these players are with the disclaimer that ‘of course they’re not in pads yet’
So it goes with every under achiever who gets ‘bigger, stronger, faster’ our whole team gets faster every year. I wonder if Spadaro has ever seen a slow year.
"EFF YOU, WE'RE WINNING ANYWAY!!!!!!" (Bye, Dawk)
Dave Spadaro is a goddamnned idiot.
...But if he pulls the rug on his quarterback, Reid must do it knowing that he let McNabb down more than McNabb ever let him down.

The defense is starting to impress me more and more. I cant wait until training camp to see who is gonna shine. Looks like our pass rush will be something to fear in the next couple of years.

If Kolb grits his teeth every time he screws up on the field...
…the man is going to need his own personal dentist and orthodontist. And I hope he’s putting extra flouride in his water.

Interesting to see how a team with no identity, achieves one.
I’m looking forward to seeing players develop. I expect to see lots of mistakes. I expect to see Andy find solutions to problematic areas like safety and corner. But I don’t expect this team to make the playoffs. I do expect the team to become a much nastier version of the perennial winners we have known.
