Today, Dan Patrick interviewed Kevin Kolb. I was especially pleased with the answer to the question about the tasered teenager.
DP: Did you see the Philadelphia Phillies fan get tasered?
KK: I saw pictures of it. I never got the full story, but you know what's funny, they said a fan got tasered, and I said, "Hmm, that's probably a Philly fan." And sure enough I looked down and there was a Phillies shirt on him. We have that reputation for a reason.
I for one am elated with the show of solidarity. I'm specifically recalling a goofball post a couple weeks ago talking about how KK wasn't happy to be here, that he wanted to be the one traded, blah blah blah.
I didn't hear the interview, so maybe someone who did could comment on his tone, but reading it, it doesn't strike me as something someone would say in a measured way. If it's authentic, then I think that, at least in attitude, we have our new franchise QB in a big way.
