McNabb to Redskins a ploy to keep Bradford out of the East?
NFL execs believe one reason Eagles traded McNabb to Redskins was so Washington could not acquire Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford. More @ espn.com.

"NFL execs believe one reason Eagles traded McNabb to Redskins was so Washington could not acquire Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford." That's Adam Schefter's tweet not too long ago. While he hasn't exactly been batting 1.000, this might actually have some merit. Besides starting the youth movement, giving the Redskins McNabb could mean that in Kolb's (and Desean's and Maclin's and McCoy's) prime in 3 or 4 years, the Redskins will probably be searching for a new QB (possibly one not as good as Bradford either). Interesting thought and savvy move if so.
