More players to be cut/traded

Expect more purging from the Eagles in the next two years. Starting last season and continuing into this season the Eagles have been doing an over haul of their employees. So I decided to research what might be coming next. Here is what I have come up with.

The Eagles purged 33,821,453 million from last years team salary. Players left on the team that are older or big cap hits are:

Asante Samuels - Cap 10 million (Samuels is 29 and coming off a great play making horrible tackling performance)

Joselio Hanson - Cap 3.9 million (Hanson had a down year last year too. The suspension just adds to why are the Eagles paying him so much to be their nickle back?) If he doesn't step up he looks like a casualty to me. 28 years old.

Mike Vick - Cap 3,641,000 million. Back up Qbs rarely make that much money!

Omar Gaither - Cap 1,052,405 million. The versatile but oft injured Gaithers career kind of mirrors that of Gocong. He quietly puts up decent stats but unless he does something bad, you don't see him on the field.

Look for the Eagles to draft a few CB's and LB's and a QB in this draft. If those rookies make any kind of noise, the players listed above might be as good as gone.

"These Cap numbers were a result of 2009 numbers. I could not find 2010's"
