The FO.
Since Lurie, Banner and Reid got together the Eagles have always rebuilt the team on the fly. They always have and they always will. All the while saving a buck when they can no matter who likes it and remaing mostly competitive. It's smart business period. Even if they don't make the playoff this year they'll stay competitive. In a market like Philly that's all that really matters. Especially when it comes to the Eagles. I really think they want a SB victory. However once they see signs of a player aging or slowing down they're as good as gone. We all know this. It's time for us all to accept it no matter how stupid we precieve a move to be. Our only other choice is to not give them our money. Personally I know I'll go to a few games and buy a jersey or two so I'm out. I'm just glad the bastard didn't get a chance to move the team to LA.
Drafting Kolb, McCoy and Demps as early as they did was no coincidence. I'm not getting into how good these guys are. The point is the FO knew what they were doing all along. As long as it doesn't cost them too much nobody is safe. I'm not sayin they knew exactly when they were going to drop McNabb, Westbrook or Dawkins. They had to have known, that to them, their time as an Eagle was close to being over. The same thing can be said for what has happened at other positions. I'm only pointing out three of our most beloved players, of recent memory.
Anyway... Who knows if we'll win a SB. We should at least be in hunt in the foreseeable future. Time will tell.
