Certainly seems like the Eagles are putting a high price tag on players with high character and high motors.
Our first clue was when Mikkell tipped us off saying most of the players we got rid of were problem players. You have to wonder if guys like Howard, Clemons, maybe even McNabb were bringing some negativity to the table. Obviously, Sheldon Brown was b/c of his contract and the reason why I say McNabb isn't because I think he's done as a good QB, but when DeSean said it was time for a change at QB and no other young guy gave him a ringing endorsement -- one has to think he might've not been a great locker room presence.
Yesterday, Roseman even cited that players with character concerns won't even get a look to join this roster. Does this mean with that the Eagles are turning the roster into a bunch of players with high character? I like the idea, you have to wonder if the FO feel this will help them achieve a ring and the guys with a negative locker presence will bring them down even if they are more talented.
