Vikings Sign Ex-Eagle Lito Sheppard

From Pro Bowl Starter to backup and insurance. Lito is finding out the hard way that he is losing a step. The Vikes signed him to a one year, $2 million contract. Remember that the Vikings have injured starter Cedric Griffen. There might be a chance Lito might start a game or two if Griffen is not up to speed for the first game of the season but that could be in jeopardy too with the emergence of backup CB Asher Allen.
