Although I believe a lot of people are going to be upset with the trade of Sheldon Brown, or at least the value we received for him, I think it is a good idea to evaluate the strategy that the eagles are using here. It's clear that the eagles' organization has the idea of making the eagles a younger team. I for one am all for this. The eagles are currently building a team for the future. Once Donovan is gone (fingers crossed) the eagles will have lost most of the superstars that brought them to the super bowl just a few years ago. In my opinion, this shows that the eagles organization has had enough of the failure to win the big game and the veterans on this team and they are preparing a team that will compete in the upcoming years.
Who knows though, I could be wrong. After all, I want Michael Vick to start.
