According to PFT, Clark Judge of CBSSports.com reports that the Eagles are close to sending Sheldon Brown and Chris Gocong to the Browns for a draft pick, or for a player, two draft picks, and a backup player. Judge says that he expects the deal to be done any time now. Judge says that the deal hinges on Brown getting a new contract.

I do not know if this deal is true or not. But the deal better be good, because the Eagles cannot get ripped off for what is still one of the best corners in the game and a really bad LB. 

The question is what is going to happen to the cornerback's depth after this. The Eagles probably go to the draft, because they are also interested in getting some guy from the Seahawks that plays on the O-Line.
