It's been somewhat surprising that Brian Westbrook hasn't even gotten a hint of interest in free agency so far. Although the way he dropped off and given how rare it is for RBs his with his age and injury history to be effective... Maybe it's not so surprising.
In fact, back in February it seemed like the consensus was that he would not be on a roster this year. However, it appears that the Green Bay Packers are at least exploring the idea of signing Westbrook. Back when Westbrook was released, most fans here hoped that he would retire to preserve his future health. Not only did he have two concussions last year but also chronic knee and persistent ankle injuries. But, it's hard to tell a guy when he's done. In the end, it's his decision and I'm sure he'd like to to see his career end on his own terms rather than the way things ended last year with him injured and on the bench,
