McNabb going to the Vikings?

Howard Eskin just said on 610 WIP that it is pretty much done that the Eagles are sending Donovan McNabb to Minny for Ray Edwards and their 1st rounder. I don't know if he is joking or not because it is April Fools day but if it is true do you guys like the trade? I like it since we get a first and a LDE that I like but the only problem I have is that I wanted to send McNabb to a AFC team so we didn't have to see him that much.

If true, yes I like the return. It would be tough as an Eagles fan to see him lead another team to the Superbowl before the Eagles get back there though, and I think he’d definately have a shot of doing so in Minny.

They have the running game defense to survive the “bad McNabb” games, and a coach that is very familiar with McNabb’s strengths and limitations.

I don’t buy the whole “Donovan McNabb is being mistreated meme”, but this would be a good outcome for both.

I don't buy it

I think the Eagles think they solved the DE problem with Tapp.

I’d love it if the Vikings manned up and got McNabb before Favre declared his intentions, but that’s one more reason not to buy it.

And, the Vikings are an NFC team that would stand in our way and likely beat us with McNabb.

I say Eskin’s pulling your leg.

Ray Edwards is franchised at a 1st-round level plus their first rounder in 2010… that’s basically two first round picks for McNabb.

That’s what I’d call one sided.

not me .. i mean i love the first .. but edwards isnt all that .. i would take the second and swaping of asomugha for samuel over the first .. edwards is basically another tapp .. hes not a stud .. hes a rotation guy here .. he just benifited from playing oppisite allen .. now asoumugha is light years better than samuel and a true shut down corner ..
