PrintFollowing the path that his sons have already laid, Philadelphia Eagles head coach, Andy Reid, has been arrested early Thursday morning for his involvement in the practice of polygamy. Plural marriage, the act of having more than one spouse at one time, has been outlawed in the United States since the late 1800's; however, that has not stopped the rambunctious Philly coach from acting on this shameless exploit.
At 8:50 AM, Andy Reid was arrested at his Villanova home on suspicion of having several wives. "We are unclear on the total amount of spouses Mr. Reid has been sealed to," stated a Villanova police chief earlier this morning. "But we are expecting the number to be around 21 to 27."
It is not uncommon knowledge that Andy Reid is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - or Mormon as it is most commonly called. The act of polygamy has been a common practice held dear by Mormons until it was deemed a violation of criminal law in 1878, and thus banned by the LDS 12 years later.
"I was simply acting on the the beliefs and principles I hold dear," Reid said in a statement after he was released on bail at approximately 11:30 AM. "My father always told me that if I have a personal conviction, I need to run with it... but only about 40% of the time." When coach Reid was asked about the McNabb trade situation, he replied: "No comment."
The names of the wives are yet to be released, but the following women are suspected to be involved...

I absolutely decline to offer my opinion on or read any posts about the McNabb v. Kolb debacle. Those posts never end and I choose to sit back and wait to see what happens. This is going to be a long offseason.

Knowshon, Wells, and Brown will be the first 3 taken and not in that order possibly. Some insiders predict Brown will jump ahead of Well by the time the draft comes around. After that most predict McCoy will be the 4th RB off the board. So the top 4 should be gone by the time the second round rolls around to us, but the others are generally thought of as early third round backs. I would be happy with the top 4 after that, not so sure.

Oh it's a true story
The thought that anyone could actually take this story seriously didn’t occur to me. It really made my day to find out he was all excited and telling people about it.
