According to one senior team official with the Eagles, there is no "so-called frontrunner" in the Donovan McNabb trade talks. "We continue to engage in conversations with multiple teams that initially contacted us," said the official. "Some of the offers involve draft picks, some involve a player, some involve many players." The official also denied a report that they would require a top-42 pick to deal McNabb.
Hm, it seems as if Adam Schefter's reporting on the McNabb/Raider situation is false. Still, we can't be too sure how close the "senior team official" is actually with the front office. Also, i like the line about "some involving many players". Just dreaming here, but McNabb + 2nd for Asomugha and Huff maybe? I'd think about taking it, definately if we could just give a third instead of a second. <strong>Note: That's just speculation, don't go apeshit on me trying to find a validation for that trade.
By the way, did you know that McNab is a breed of dog? I found this out after a typo on Google..
Don't let Michael Vick know about this..
