I thought about this a bit,. Its obvious Mcnabb would love to go to Minnesota as they are arguably the best team in the NFC behind the Saints. Although IMHO they should have won the NFC title game. Anyway--Mcnabb WANTS to go there, so why don't the Eagles trade him there ?
Well its a NFC competitor...are they really ? The Eagles with or without Mcnabb are not in the same league as the Vikings. So if Mcnabb were to get traded there and win, good for him. I for one would be happy for him and also happy for the Eagles because they will be building a young team around Kolb that I feel will be very good in the future.
Not now. I think the last two games against the Cowboys illustrated just how much distance there is from the top teams in the NFC and the Eagles. So let Mcnabb go to Minny and try to win. The Eagles arent going to win with him OR without him. And if Minny comes up wit a solid offer---why not ?
Another caveat...If Mcnabb doesnt win with THAT team---then everyone can say "see I told you Mcnabb cant win the big game"
Seems like a win for everyone if we trade him there...assuming Minnys offer is better than everyone else.
Mcnabb, a guy who is the best eagles QB of all time-gets a chance to win and define his legacy.
Philly-gets a player and or draft pick to help them retool and compete in the future
