Runyan
I think all of us want a break from the endless McNabb posts. People think many different things when they think of Jon Runyan, Personally he is my favorite lineman of my football watching years. Troy Vincent thought he was a great locker room influence, while many peers thought that he was the the second dirtiest player in the NFL. His newest title, however, may be the most surprising. Runyan Announced that he was running for Republican For New Jerseys Third Congressional District. Runyan is joining other former athletes turned politician the list includes; Pete Dawkins, Phil McConkey, Brian Propp, and Al Leiter. Runyan knows this isnt a permanent career for him he was quoted saying :
"By no means do I intend to make a career out of this," he said. "I've had my life's career already. This is just an extension of who I am and my community service. Just going out and helping people is something that I have a tremendous passion for, and this is a great time to make some positive changes to get this country back on its feet."

In life, as in a football game, the principle to follow is: Hit the line hard.
-Theodore Roosevelt
He considered it forever ago, it wasnt till last thursday he said 100% he was running
just decided they should add something to the health care bill. Everyone should be made to get a membership to a gym and must use it. If not then they should be penalized for not taking care of themselves. All in favor? Oh wait...it doesn't matter what we think.
How Republican is he?
lol. J/K. I am glad he sees this as a community service, rather than a career. I was reading somewhere, that we should institute term limits for congress as back when this nation was first formed, the people who ran also seen it as a community service, rather then a career. If he sticks true to his words, that is all that can be asked. Go Runyan. Hope you win. (on another note, who the hell would squash one of his bills? lol)

He's got my vote.
...But if he pulls the rug on his quarterback, Reid must do it knowing that he let McNabb down more than McNabb ever let him down.
