McNabb has been our guy since we drafted him and the only reason the fo is interested in trading him is because they think what they could get for him will outweigh the loss of a 33 year old upper tier QB, is that the case? Depends on what we would get and how well Kolb ends up playing. If they think they could trade Kolb, draft a QB and end up with more value from that, they would, that’s just how the eagles handle things.
I’m not a McNabb or Kolb hater (I’m a Syracuse native) I just want to see the eagles be the best they can be. One will most likely be gone and this year’s draft is looking ripe with players so the time is right to make a move with one of them.
Btw no way they only keep McNabb for one year and let him walk, they would resign him (top 42 pick + player > McNabb for just one more year)
