This is an official apology to Donovan McNabb for the shitty way Eagles Fans/Media treating you.

So I know this is going to start some annoying people going on about how I should shut up and that McNabb is done in Philly and what not.  But I don't give a shit.  McNabb has never been appreciated for the great athlete that he is.  Yes I know he hasn't won us a championship yet.  I get it.  Its frustrating.  You don't think all the McNabb supports are just as eager for the Eagles to win a Super Bowl?  We are.  Every Eagles fan will not be happy with the team until they win the big one.  I get it that McNabb doesn't take responsibility for when the Eagles do like some of the other quarterbacks in the league.  But you know what, its not all McNabbs fault.  Football is a team sport and one player can only do so much.  When the rest of the team's talent slides off and the players aren't playing up to their capabilities, I can always feel good that McNabb is doing all he can to win us the game.  And here's my biggest gripe.  Every year Eagles fan have been calling for us to trade McNabb, but do you honestly think with the teams that we have had, anyone else could have done more than him.  Frankly, I believe that we do play better when McNabb is hurt sometimes tho.  But its not cus McNabb was the problem.  Its because the play calling changes drastically and the whole team steps up and plays to their abilities.  Basically when McNabb is there, everyone looks like they slack off and dumps the responsibility of winning the game on him.  And he has always put us in a position to win those games.  So before we call for the end of the McNabb era, how about we think back to how things were before him.  How about we think about how long it might be before the Eagles find themselves a true franchise quarter back.  Kolb might be that guy.  He might not.  Thats an awful lot to risk when this team has been improving the last few years and now has a large amount of quality/great players.  Give the man a chance with a very talented team before we declare him out in Philly. 

So for all the fans that keep demanding your trade.  For all the fans that hope for him to leave.  For all the media that hype up the "McNabb is going _______ (fill in the blank with any team in the nfl)" bull shit rumors that are never true.  For never truly being appreciated for the great player that you are and the great football you have brought to Philadelphia, I apologize McNabb.  There is at least one fan here that still wants you in this city.  Me.

So say what you want about what I have to said, but frankly I don't give a shit.
