I've got one more day before my spring break starts and i've completley checked out. However all this trade talk and waiting has been killing me.
I need some educating. This is not another post about why or why not Donovan should stay. I'm not making any claims or statements. I just need some help, and possibly a history lesson.
I started following the Eagles, like REALLY following them when i was about 11 or 12, just around the time McNabb had taken over under center. Ive seen all the NFC Championship games, been through the hard times and felt the pain. I've also seen the great times, the great plays, and the great offenses surrounded around Mcnabb. However I've never seen a change as dramatic as this could be.
Brian Dawkins leaving was probably the biggest sports blow I've ever suffered. I idolized him as a kid (still do) and when he when he left i was devestated. However i want to know what its like, what happens, what the contigency is when a franchise QB leaves. I'm certainly aware of the Packers and their recent changing of the gaurd. I know most of you have been following this team for years and years and have seen the Eagles go through different coaching changes and Quaterback play. Unfortunatley when Bobby Hoying was around i was only interested in playing legos and watching nickelodeon.
How good is Kolb really? (im not hating im seriously asking your opinions) We've seen him play against good and bad teams, and do well for the most part. Yes he suffered with interceptions but it was his first few starts and virtually inevitable. I heard a story a while back that Andy Reid was in Indy for a game and saw Kolb playing at Houston on ESPN. He loved his talent and immediatly wanted to draft him. So we know he has faith in him. But what do YOU see? If he takes over what do you think will happen? How does he fit into this system, what transpires?
