McNabb wants to stay, hasn't spoken with Reid

Andy Reid finally admitted Wednesday that
Donovan McNabb is available in a trade, but McNabb is hoping to remain an Eagle.
Jeff McLane of the
Philadelphia Inquirer credits a source that says
McNabb wants to stay in Philadelphia and retire there. It's an interesting nugget to float publicly, because McNabb would be passing on a contract extension that would likely come with a trade.
Perhaps McNabb has looked at the
ever-shrinking list of possible teams he fits with and doesn't like what he sees.
McLane also reports that Reid hasn't spoken to McNabb in months. That news is nearly as
eye-opening as Reid's words were this morning.
