Shawn Andrews Quits The Twit

Shawn Andrews says he's written his last Tweet, just two days after we pointed out a message that Andrews' representative might not want out there.

In the meantime, Andrews changed his user name to "Random73" and commented about a specific ex-teammate, according the Philadelphia Daily News.

Shawn had this to say about an "ex-Eagle" who keeps bashing him via airwaves.

"There is an X coworker of mine who is now doing radio taking shots @ me. He better relax before I pull a Ocho Cinco," Andrews wrote. "I'm so not the controversial type..... I wouldn't disrespect one of my own to get a check.. GOD Bless u bro..."

"If u have a job, and you get hurt on the job, and because your job know that u can help them succeed they keep u on the payroll til u are healthy or until they decide to go in another direction... Is that stealing???"

how do you expect the guy to play offensive line when he needed back surgery? that’s not adversity—it’s an injury. and if you’re referring to depression, that’s a real problem, too.

Both of those were legitimate reasons to not play

His career as MC Sandwich and love for reefers, however, are bullshit reasons for not doing his job. That’s why I feel he won’t play football again. But maybe he’ll go all Ricky Williams and prove me wrong, I’d love to see it.

Its got to be Hugh Douglas. I think he’s specifically said something along the lines of Shawn Andrews is secretly a genius because he figured out a way to stay employed and steal money from the team for 2 years or something along those lines.
