Ingram
The past few days have been nothing short of eventful. Really exciting. I wake up everyday and anticipate another move, its been great.
Anyway,
I've been thinking alot about our younger guys. We have alot of un-"tapp"ed potential as of right now and Im really excited to see what happens. (Tapp trade was awesome). The reveiving corps is the best i have ever seen it, our offensive line, to some degree, is above average and we still have moves to makeAs we all know Cornelius Ingram was a steal in last years draft. Even though he had missed a year of football due to an ACL injury, he seemed promising enough for where he was taken. Unfortunately the worst wasn't over and he reinjured the same knee once again during camp.
So two years removed from the gridiron and his spot on this team is somewhat of a mystery. What now? I've been anticipating this guys contribution for a while. The way i see it is even if he comes back and doesn't pan out to be great, there was really no major expectations from anyone; hes had two knee injuries and was a late pickup. Secondly, we have Brent "Chuck Norris" Celek ... i don't need to go any further. Either way, its not the end of the world.
What if he does recover and manages to contribute greatly? Lets not forget Buckhaulter's impact after being out for three seasons with his barrage of injuries. He wasnt the top tier running back on the team, but he did a hell of a job behind 36.
So what do you think? Assuming he comes back healthy and can play, what happens with Ingram?

I loved the Ingram pick
He was my favorite TE in last years draft and I thought it was a steal at the time but he has to come back strong before you consider him a “steal.”
Having said that, I love the potential he has. Not to mention a lot of the other guys on the team.
I love him too, this time his tear was properly done so he should come back strong enough in no time
eff you we winning anyway
A.I. IS BACKKKKKKK
He will definitely be productive
I remember reading that he was doing rehab with Stu. And that the both of them were just going strong, supporting each other and getting into the best shape possible. If he is side by side with Stu, I have a feeling that he will be back and will definitely be a redzone threat.

All Ingram news has been positive.
Obviously, we can’t count on anything.
But, it certainly seems that his surgery got done right this time, and that he has ha d a great rehab staff and Stu to push him really hard.
I anticipate Ingram being a RZ weapon, as he is tall, has a great vertical, and as a basketball player understands how to shield the ball with his body.
Also, don’t be surprised to see him flexed out wide against smaller nickel corners on curl and comeback routes.
Marty and Urban Meyer agreed that Ingram would be a “matchup nightmare” when healthy. I’m interested to see what the Birds do with him and hope he comes back strong.

I had high hope for Ingram
I was happy when we picked him up because of the potential..I think he’ll be great once he’s able to get himself on the football field. You can tell he is just a pure athlete and I think he will be fine once healthy. I like him in the RZ as well..at the same time, you just don’t know how he is going to preform in the NFL but I got a hunch he’ll be pretty darn good.
It will be a bumpy road trying to steal playing time from Celek...
but I have high hopes for this kid.
Brent Celek > Chuck Norris

hopefully he can carve out a niche as a RedZone guy...
My "t" and "y" buttons are messed up so don't bitch at me about misspelling, I'm just saying.

If Ingram is being counted on as their best redzone threat
The Eagles are going to be in the bottom 1/3 again in redzone execution again.
Well at least at receiver.
We can always try to pound it in. The Eagles wideouts aren’t exactly known for their height.
Brent Celek > Chuck Norris
I'd take Avant in the redzone.

Don't get it
Why some many people have continued really high expectations from Ingram yet. He was interesting last year in camp until he blew out his knew but what the Eagles get out of him at this point will be a bonus.
I would be surprised if the Eagles are really counting on him to have any kind of impact on the team or solve some of their limitations on offense (e.g., redzone, short-yardage, 3rd down conversion). If last year showed anything, there are enough playmakers on the offense side couple of doing that. O-line just needs to play better and they need better execution especially on 3rd down.
Ingram's gonna be a beast.
He was the rookie that I was most looking forward to watching play last year. More than Shady and more than Maclin. Then, alas, my dreams were crushed.
I don't know what it is about your face,
[holds up fist]
but I just wanna deliver one of these right in your suck hole.
It will be....
just like Witten/Bennett TE set. SWEEEEET!!!
I don't know what it is about your face,

and......
Washington will have a similar set in Cooley/Davis.

only.... different
Witten and Bennett are amazing blockers and are good at getting open
Celek is amazing in the receiving game and Ingram is a great athlete, neither can block well.

Reid
Would have to look long and hard at his playbook to find the 2 TE sets. Eagles almost never run those.
line his ass up at WR in the RZ

And that's a shame.
Two TE sets in the WCO are a lot of fun to diagram and watch.
Ace Twins Left is one of my favorite formations in football. If Ingram comes back strong I think it could solve a lot of problems for the Birds in SY.

I expect good things from him
he tore his knee and it was poorly repaired causeing it to tare again but it was properly adressed this time and he should be stronger than ever
Fresh, Fresher, Freshest, Fresherest
Around the time he tore his ACL in camp, I read somewhere that the team had kind of expected him to tear it again, but still drafted him. That made me feel a lot better about it.
I remember that being reported
Most teams considered him undraftable and expected him to re-injure the knee, because it wasn’t properly fixed the first time around

People keep forgetting about him
He has great size at 6-5 255. Why are they so high on him…..I guess we’ll have to wait till training camp to find out.
Apparently
He’s just got really, really good hands. The Birds called him up because other teams were sniffing around while he was on the PS.
He’s in the Ingram mold; I can’t wait to see both of them in camp.

im lost please help
Im sorry , I must of missed the Martin Rucker’s thing , where did he come from , what college did he go too . I want to check him out
Here's some help.
He came from Mizzou, like Maclin. He had a huge career there. Drafted by the Browns, fourth round of the 2008 draft. Waived, grabbed by Eagles, put on PS. Signed off of it when they found out other teams were about to grab him.

Year 1
300 receiving yards and 3 TD’s in limited play behind Celek this season and I’m content coming off this type of injury. I hope he can carve out a role in the red zone/goal line offense.

What
Are you talking about Ingram didn’t play at all this year he was placed on IR in training camp

300 yds and 3TDS?!
For a guy that has never played a down in the NFL, is coming off a serious injury, playing in a system that almost never runs double TE sets or passes to the backup TE, and has a legit Pro Bowl-caliber starter now at TE in Celek?
Hey
How did Pettigrew do?
I don’t follow the Lions. Did he turn out to be studly or what?
Veritas Liberabit Te
30 rec, 346 yds, 2 TD. Not a great stat line, but it’s tough to judge individual performances on crappy teams.
he also tore his knee up really badly

Willing to bet
That Ingram has 3 or less catches this year (no TDs) and is a total non-factor just as Alex Smith was this year.
When is the last time an Eagles’ backup TE was ever a factor in Reid’s offense ? The answer is ‘Never.’
Andy likes his formations....
A double TE I formation with McCoy, Weaver, Celek and Ingram?
All good receiving threats… I could see this happening in the Red zone.
