I remember McCoy tried to do this when Booker got cut last year but the league didn't allow it so I wonder why they are allowing it now?

When McCoy becomes a superstar you’ll have his original jersey with his original number and it’ll be super rare! yeah…awesome…

so I wonder why they are allowing it now?

Because by the time McCoy wanted to change his number, jerseys were already on sale. Samething happen to Chad Johnson when he changed his name to “Ochocinco”. They wouldn’t let Chad wear a jersey of “Chad Ochocinco” the first year.

RIP Jim Johnson, best ever.

yea you can pretty much do whatever you want in the off season because of trades and releases they don’t really print more jerseys.

The Eagles WILL redeem themselves in the '10-'11 season, with a win at SuperBowl 45 in Dallas!

So I’m guessing you didn’t bother to click on the link and read the article.

Second-year running back LeSean McCoy has traded in his No. 29 and will wear No. 25 next season. McCoy wore No. 25 during his college career at Pittsburgh.

I just hope he doesn’t play like booker next year…

Signs of Bookeritis include being impressive in shorts, and going down when an actual defender gets anywhere near you. Please contact your doctor immediately.
