Our Year

Every year we hope it could be our year

But more than likely it  will end in a tear

But this year i say i wont end up sick

First we pick up a draft pick for vick

Than we trade mcnabb too

Kevin Kolb its time to be andys new boo

Kevin will have no problems hiting jackson in stride

But you cant forget about Maclin on the other side

Avant is a decent player in the slot

Hank may suck but kendras hot

Chad hall will suffer the same fate as Kevin

Both sitting at home watching Ingram score seven

Celek sure cant block but he can catch the ball

Untill Mccoy can hit a hole down the depth chart he will fall

Time for Mike bell to carry the load

Good thing we have Weaver to enter beast mode

The good andrews brother is Tweeting at his house

The other one couldnt block a mouse

Eagles fans will continue to blow herremans even though hes not great

Jason Peters will continue to be first rate

People will still talk about  Winstons one bad game

Jammal Jackson will never be the same

Thank god we still got my boy Max

Hopefully i dont have to see trotter bring the AX

Bradley is not an all pro

Chris gocong gets beat more times than a Hoe

Jordan will continue to be underrated

Gaither will still just be hated

No one can pronouce Moise Fokou's name

Cutting Witherspoon was just Lame

Trent cole will bring the Rush

Mike Patterson  will provide the Crush

Bunkley is like an under rated  Sapp

Eli manning is about to get his ass TAPP

Howard is getting old

Tevor laws locker is starting to grow mold

Parker is a decent rotation guy

Victor Abiamiri's stock is no longer high

Asante jumps a route for pick six

Why is Ellis hobbs still in the mix?

Sheldon brown is the fucking man

Wild Eagle is Machos only fan

Marlin jackson will come back ready to play

Joselio Hanson will get beat all day

Quinton Mikell will never be Dawk

Thank god chris clemmons is now a hawk

So with a few moves we could be superbowl bound

A few good draft picks and this team is sound

But theres one thing missing that will make this Team GO

Bring back the man, the legend, the one and only TO :-)

E A G L E S EAGLES!!

Damn. That’s Serch.

Who, even if you completely ignore hosted VH1’s the White Rapper Show, a mild hit, a few years ago, should at least be recognizable in the pantheon of white rappers. It’s the Beasties, 3rd Bass, Em, RA the Rugged Man … well there’s a ton now, good ones too — some even from Philly — but Serch is one of the most accomplished.

I let it go the first time since I assumed no one cared.

Yes, Serch worked with Nas early on

The first two albums I think. Says he exec produced Illmatic on wikipedia.

He also helped O.C. get put on … O.C. was kinda like a junior Nas who never quite reached his potential. Like a Ryan Moats to Nas’s Westbrook.

And yeah, I realized I forgot Everlast … and Slug of Atmosphere. And El-P and Non-Phixion and Jedi Mind Tricks (215!) … but I figured another post would have bored y’all to death.

As far as hip-hop being garbage these days, we’ve been saying that since the late 90s. But one of the great things about this day and age is that there’s a glut of music out there — more than you can ever really obtain and seriously get into. Which means if you find a style that you like, you can easily download similar artists and have more than you’d ever dream of.

In other words, the mainstream outlets still play garbage, but in an age of iPods and iTunes and Pandora and .mp3s and FTP sites and bittorrent and Lime Wire and all that, I keep adding and adding to my hip-hop collection, to the point where I’ve had to stop saying “rap sucks these days”

P.S. Sign Kolb to an extension and draft Eric Berry and Maurkice Pouncey. (Just trying to get us back on topic)

Check out Madcon if you haven’t yet. Real solid.
As far as saying some of these artists are garbage, it is a very opinionated statement, I agree. But I want some real lyrical content in my music. I have been saying this since Master P first dropped and really set off a new wave of rap. Club songs are fine too sell the album, but have some real content on there too. This is my biggest beef with Lil Wayne (that and the damn vocoder. Use your own damn voice. I know they call it auto tune, but I know a damn vocoder when I hear it) , while he does have some clever lines, most of his lyrics are mindless drivel. In closing Dallas can suck my balls, the Giants are jokes and Washington …. well they don’t even worry me. Go Eagles!!!!!!!!!!!

As a message to Jibta I say simply this...

…His best friend Reggie Brown just got traded for piss
As for Donovan, sir, I must say you’re off base
Kevin Kolb is a joke and a Houston disgrace.
But he’s worth at least something, perhaps a neat boon
He’ll be traded out west to Seattle quite soon.
As for Terrell, young jibta, a sham and a joke
In a steam room with Ocho? Perhaps a quick poke?
As he said of Garcia, “it walks like a duck…”
But enough of TO, now it’s on to our luck
How we traded Chris Clemons, a fraud and a fake
And we signed a CB, how his ligaments break!
Another off season, shall I break it down?
The effeminate Andrews, at last out of town!
Good riddance…bad rubbish…he’s dumber than shit
Am I feeling remorse for the man? Not a bit.
Now we got rid of Curtis as dogs shed their fleas
And it’s time now to sign other guys with bad knees.

...But if he pulls the rug on his quarterback, Reid must do it knowing that he let McNabb down more than McNabb ever let him down.

Doesn't BOTHER me..

The Eagles WILL redeem themselves in the '10-'11 season, with a win at SuperBowl 45 in Dallas!
