BGN Members Hall of Fame?

I was looking around on SB*Nation blogs, and i found this..

If you click on that link, it shows an example of MCM (Titans' SB Blog) inductions for their "hall of fame". It came off to me as a good idea that could improve BGN. I think if enough interest was created for this, we could possibly have it in effect by the end of the 2010 season, or sooner. Is this a bad idea, or do you think it would help BleedingGreenNation or hurt it? Thoughts?

i’ve only been on bgn for a few months, so i guess it was before that. either way, i think it’s a great idea

well we kinda had some some point last year
We more or less made a lineup of BGN personalities. I was the long snapper if i remember correctly, but yeah we at least recognized those who put a lot of effort into the site.

back in January, about 10 of us from this site, plus another 4 friends or so, met up in philly to play a game of football. it was a good time….

And given that you’re an Eagles fan, it’s not too ridiculous to expect you to go above and beyond the normal level of fandom.
We played in 18 degrees that day too. It was more or less idiotic … if we play on soft grass in the springtime, it’ll be twice as fun.

well i’ll be graduating high school in may of this year, so i’ll probably have to sit bgnbowl2 out. maybe three or so! i’d love to come up though, look forward to it if it happens!

i think that NPK is the only one that looked remotely close to what i had expected.
Beyond that, i really had no clue what i was walking into. We had a lot more very good athletes than i would have expected

i’ll talk to my buddy about the interest from his blog. i was thinking that sometime in mid-end may would be a good time to pull everyone together. maybe do a little post game tailgate or something.
i’ve been on here a bit, but not posting a ton. I dont like a lot of the know-it-all attitudes that come out this time of year. Too much speculation, taken way too seriously.
A good offseason though. I am pretty stoked.

There’s a ton of great discussion there, and I used to waste hours on it, but it’s also full of internet fighting and “look at me” posting and cliques that made it annoying.
