Kamerion Wimbley to the Raiders

Kamerion Wimbley just got traded to the Raiders for a third round pick from the Browns... Do you guys think that either Kirk Morrison or Thomas Howard may now hopefully get traded?

Is a natural 4-3 end, so him coming in probably will have little to no effect on Howard or Thomas. He’ll probably play DE. Besides, I think barring a showing out of a LB in the later rounds by us, Reid is ready to go into next season with Fokou, Bradley, and Jordan as his starters.

The Browns traded Wimbley to get more ammo to make a run at Kevin Kolb.

No I didn’t make it up… but I did hear it from a friend who follows the NFL pretty closesly… who, for all I know, could’ve made it up.

But in all seriousness… he follows the NFL pretty closely. I didn’t ask him where he saw the rumor, but it doesn’t surprise me. I think Cleveland really wants Kolb… the problem is I don’t think Andy & co. will deal him… which is probably the right call.
