The 7 rounder is next week, we only did 2 rounds today. I traded up five spots to get Jason Pierre-Paul in the first and in the second I took Daryl Washington.

Can I ask why you took a flier in the 1st?

I have never seen him play a down but the word is he is a freak. But he is raw and only has one year of college football under his belt. I am just curious why we moved up to get him as well?

he selected a border-line top ten guy at 19. that’s a pretty good get, if you ask me.

That's what the draft guys say....

This guy has tremendous upside…but then again, wouldn’t you rather use the pick on someone that is more established? One year of college football…it’s a crap shoot.

Brandon Graham went at 12 and Derrick Morgan went a pick or two afterwards so I thought it was neccessary to trade up to get Pierre-Paul since I think we will draft one of those three and I didn’t want to take a chance of somebody taking him right before we went on the clock. He is rated as the #1 DE by a few draft experts and like eagleyosh said he is projected right around the top ten in a lot of mocks. I know he had one year of major college football but it’s also the same for everyone else although I don’t think it will happen Suh or Berry could be busts its a crapshoot with everybody.

Also I will comment on the Washington pick. I took him because from what I have read and seen he is one of the best LBs in pass coverage and obviously if your an Eagles fan you know that last year TEs and RBs usually had there way with us out of the backfield. Washington played MLB at TCU but with Stew Bradley coming back Washington would probably move to WLB.
