"Multiple" teams interested in Eagles QBs
Adam Schefter (who, by the way, knows that Chris Mortensen is wrong about everything) is reporting that there are multiple teams contacting us about our QBs. Who knows, maybe we can play them against each other and get even more value for whichever QB we decide to trade.

Exciting to hear...
It seems with each passing day, in my head, trading McNabb becomes the obvious move more and more.

elaborates on his post, specifically saying “six” teams. I don’t have Insider, so I don’t know if he elaborated on which teams. Obviously, the Rams have to be one of them. Who would the other five be? Bills, Browns, Raiders, Jags, Broncos? Seems a bit early for the Vikes, given the Favre drama, and I actually belive the Cards will give Leinart a try.
Sorry, Imp, but that's not on the map
Neither the Niners front office nor their fan base seems to be calling for a change at QB. It looks like maybe 60% want to stick with Alex Smith for 2010 (basically, improve the rest of the team and if he isn’t good after that, he has no excuse and will be dumped), 30% want to give Nate Davis a shot, and those wanting to draft someone else, sign a free agent, or go back to Shaun Hill are minimal in number.
Trade McNabb Now.....
If we were ever going to trade McNabb (and get any kind of value for him), then we’ve got to do it now. This is (without a doubt) our last chance. If the best we can get is a 2nd rounder, then I say we take it.
Start Kolb with Vick as backup for 1 year.
Trade Vick after next season (might be able to get a 2nd round pick for him as well).
If needed, we could use the Vick pick and an existing pick to move up in the ‘11 draft to get Kolb’s backup/eventual replacement.
This team is stuck on center (just can’t get over that hump) with McNabb. He is what he is….. A good QB against weak teams, and a weak QB against good teams.
We’ve got (what could become) the best receiving corp in the league. But these guys (DJ & J Mac) need a QB who can put the ball in their hands (not behind them, not on their shoelaces, not 5 yards over their heads).
Our recievers won’t be young (and fast) forever.
Mc Nabb won’t have trade value forever.
Vick won’t be an option forever.
If we trade Mc Nabb now and go with Kolb/Vick for 1 year, we may have to suffer through a year of missing the playoffs.
I’d gladly give up that year if it meant we had a chance to get off center and have a (real) shot at winning it all.
Trade Mc Nabb now….
If you don't like the way I drive, then stay off the sidewalk.....
agree...
that this is the time to trade Dmac! His value should be pretty high considering Age, experience and skill set!!

oh and to add...
His contract situation

draft
I think that it is a prime time to trade McNabb. he’s had his chance and he didn’t get us a ring. I think that our front will try and get a 1st. A team with a high draft pick most likely won’t part with a top pick for an older QB. I could see us trading for a 2nd if the terms were good like a 2nd and a good LB or a good S.
He is still capable of winning games but it’s time to go another route and try someone else under center. McNabb tried for 11 years to make it to the Superbowl but fail to win it. I say we put Kolb under center trade Vick and draft a backup in this QB deep draft. This is one of the best drafts in years, LB’s, QB’s, RB’s, linemen, and Safeties. The more high draft draft picks we have the better we’ll do. Maybe not next year but when our young team matures and gels. The idea of trading McNabb wont seem so bad.

Glad to hear this....
Especially since this blog has been backing Mcnabb HAARRRDDDD for years. My only question now is what will we do with our back-up spot?
I mean, Mcnabb is gone (Maybe). We certainly are not going to have Vick replace Mcnabb! No way. He has even less accuracy than Mcnabb.
Then that leaves us with Kolb as the starter and we need a good back up. Where would that go?
AJ? again?
Definitely Feeley
and then I’m guessing we draft a back up in the later rounds?
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!
The Eagles unceremoniously dumped Feeley...
If I’m A.J., I have no interest in coming back to the Eagles.

What about Byron Leftwich?
The Buccaneers are committed to Josh Freeman, and seem to prefer using Josh Johnson as the backup.
Also, I was thinking about the guy who is Aaron Rogers’ backup in Green Bay, because I think he did well coming in at the end of some games, but can’t recall much else about him.
Shaun Hill is a possibility as well – he’s not that great, but has some experience and might be a better choice than a rookie.
WOW!!
