According to an official statement from the Eagles, rookie DT Jeff Owens has been placed on injured reserve after only one game on the active roster. Owens ruptured his patellar tendon during the second half of yesterday's game and will require surgery. No word yet on who will be signed or activated to replace Owens on the roster, but the Eagles currently have no defensive linemen on their practice squad. Keep an eye out for an outside hire.
