Who Powered Through? Eagles Announce Inactives

The Eagles have announced their inactives for tonight's matchup with the Minnesota Vikings. CB Brandon Hughes, DE Daniel Te'o-Nesheim, CB Gerard Lawson, LB Stewart Bradley, LB Keenan Clayton, OT Austin Howard, OL Reggie Wells  & QB Mike Kafka (3rd QB).

Mike Patterson, who had been listed as questionable with a knee will play and Derrick Burgess will plays his first game for the Eagles (this time around that is). Also playing his first game will be rookie DT Jeff Owens.

Since newly acquired kick returner Gerard Lawson is inactive, I assume we'll be seeing one or all of Chad Hall, Eldra Buckley and possibly even Jeremy Maclin returning kickoffs.

Vikings QB Brett Favre will be inactive for tonight's game as will our old pals Greg Lewis and Hank Baskett

Hank Baskett is back with the Vikings? That one’s news to me.

Think he signed with them right after they cut Moss.

RIP Jim Johnson, best ever.

Our old friend Lito will be in uniform, though. Never liked the way he left, and I hope the Eagles target the crap out of him when he’s on the field.

Me too, but he wasn’t as good as Sheldon or Asante.

Prediction:

DB will have his first game be similar to Spoon’s first game…

Just thought of this...

Owens is active, that makes it FIVE active DTs, I know Patterson is a little hurt but still 5, I thought Owens would be inactive for most games

Question..

Are both of the Vikings starting safeties out? I know atleast one is.

As an Eagles fan in Louisiana, If we meet up with the Saints in the playoffs we better fcking win !!!

PLEASE... NO MACLIN ON KICK RETURNS.

He is too valuable to our offense to risk him on kick returns. Punt returns, you can pick your contact and generally only have one at a time trying to tackle you…on punt returns, you have 11 men coming after you and once they get past the first two lines, they only have 4-5 people to block in front of you.

Why hasn’t there been any talk of Harrison running kicks back. He’s fast, can make plays, and honestly expendable.
