w_e has explained his reasoning for why he feels the way he does about this subject, and I don’t entirely blame him.
With that being said, there is WAY too much homophobia on this site. It really is annoying, because there are a lot of gay guys out there who love sports and love the Eagles who shouldn’t have to feel uncomfortable to come to this blog and talk about sports. I really wish there was less “homo” and “fag” talk on here; it really gets to me personally because most of my male friends are gay, including my best friend (who also roots for the Eagles, although I don’t think he follows closely enough to be a “fan”) who just recently came out. I really hope that homophobia gets dialed down, because it’s a really tired insult. I don’t really understand how it’s an insult at all.
