I didn't mind this particular stunt honestly, but Avant has a point.

Plenty teams have been bitten in the ass for celebration penalties that gave the other team good field position, so it’s not unheard of. I liked Desean doing it yesterday because it’s the Cowboys and taunting them is special. But against most teams, that would have been totally unnecessary.

djax is a classic..

the league should give him a $50,000 bonus just for the entertainment value he adds to the game…. its professional sports… what else is there to it than excitement and fun? if all the players were like avant the tv ratings would be zilch…. riley should be playing anyway… avant is just too ordinary!!! he had a chance to be a hero in the 1st washington game and dropped a very catchable ball that would have won the game… he has absolutely no right to criticize mr. excitement!!!who does he think he is? mcstooooopid!

it was celebrating… the ref should never have called that taunting… the ref should be fined or at least made to sit out a week for being a jackass!!! that’s the kind stuff that makes hilite reels and puts money in the league’s pockets. screw avant… he’s as bland as white toast…
