Dallas Cowboys' Official Website Down During Wade Phillips Firing
According to The Dallas Morning News, the team simply forgot to renew the domain for dallascowboys.com. It was actually up for sale on Sunday night, but Jerry Jones Jr. finally paid the $9.99 to renew it for the year. There was a very real possibility of someone else grabbing the domain name, but the Cowboys got lucky and no one proved to be quick enough.
Imagine how great it would have been if someone grabbed the name and put up a mock site.

That’s not how it works. How dumb would it be if that’s how it worked?
After registration expires, there’s a window of at least 30 days within which you can renew. If your website is important enough, you’ll surely notice within that 30 day window.
Wow
Incompetence from top to bottom. Kudos to running such a tight ship, Jerruh.
