Didinger: Eagles-Colts Scouting Report
The Eagles have been a perfect 11-0 after the bye week under Andy Reid, but this year they meet the Colts and Peyton Manning, who has never lost to the Birds. By Ray Didinger

Rested Eagles provide tough task for Manning - NFL - Yahoo! Sports
Giving Andy Reid two weeks to prepare for a game has never failed the Philadelphia Eagles. Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts are no ordinary opponent, though.

So you may have heard of this Peyton Manning guy. He's been known to throw a touchdown here and there, and you also may have seen him in the occasional TV commercial. Everything the Colts' offense does well starts with him.

Streaks go on the line for Colts and Eagles | IndyStar.com | The Indianapolis Star
By their own standards, the Indianapolis Colts are on a mini-roll. They take a three-game winning streak into Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field against the Eagles this afternoon.

Beast Prediction Friday - NFC East Blog - ESPN
Mosley's pick: Eagles 24, Colts 21: The Colts are good, but it's tough to play a team coming off the bye. Especially an Andy Reid-coached team. He's 11-0 following the bye week in his career. And I think Trent Cole's going to have a big game against Peyton Manning.

Injury woes cause Colts to move a guard to tight end | ProFootballTalk.com

"Indianapolis Colts OG-Jacques McClendon will wear jersey number 80 at Philadelphia this Sunday and will be listed as a tight end," read the one-sentence press release issued by the Colts' PR department. The 324-pound McClendon certainly can't fill the void left by the injured Dallas Clark. McClendon won't be catching any deep balls from Peyton Manning, and he might not even be active for Sunday's game against the Eagles. But the move is the latest demonstration of how much injuries are affecting the Colts' roster this season.

I see this game being very simple

The Eagles will win, and I think we win in a straight up fashion.

I don’t think you’ll crazy blitzes because Manning always picks them up and beats us. I think this game will be one by fundamentals, and right now, the Eagles are fundamentally better than a depleted Colts roster. I think we only rush the front four for most of the game and blitz on occasion but use our complex coverages to take away manning’s first option for the pass. If we can make him constantly have to work through his progressions, eventually T. Cole should get home a few times.

In terms of the offense, I think if Vick protects the football and we can run effectively on 1st and 3rd downs, we’ll win this game. If we become one dimensional, especially on 3rd down, I think we’re in for a long, tight game.

I'm going to the game today!

Got surprised with box seats from my cousin a few hours ago. Haven’t gone to a game since the Thanksgiving game against the Cards in 08.
