We're starting a new service here on BGN to actually help get you to games. Up at the top of the site you'll see a link for tickets, that'll take you to our ticket center powered by TiqIQ. The key here is that we're not looking to sell you tickets per se, the service more or less aggregates what's already out there on the secondary ticket market and makes it easy to not only get the tickets but compare prices and sections. Plus, it gives us some nifty stats about what games or teams people appear to be most interested in.
For instance, from a price perspective the biggest game of the season before it started was McNabb's return to Philadelphia.
As anyone who has sat on the season ticket waiting list for years or hoped to grab a single game ticket in the 15 minutes before they all sell out can attest, Eagles tickets aren't always easy to get. We're often left to scour ebay or pay crazy prices from ticket dealers/scalpers. The TiqIQ ticket center here on BGN is going to give you a great tool to actually look at the market for each game and get yourself the best value.
As you can see here, there's still plenty of tickets available for this weekend's game against the Colts. Over 1,300 in fact and the prices really aren't all that much above face value. Our service also lets you filter to just look for e-tickets that you can print out yourself, so it's certainly not "too late" to get tickets.
[Update by JasonB, 11/05/10 3:53 PM EDT ] In checking out some of the numbers, the prices for this game are down 32% this week and there's still 36 seats available for less than $100. There's 300 instant delivery tickets(that you can print out today) left and most of them are less than $125.
