Who Is The Eagle's Biggest "Hot Dog?"

PrintToday, we want to find out who is the Eagles biggest "hot dog?" Who celebrates the most, who's got the swagger, who drives opposing fans nuts? I've got three candidates.
DeSean Jackson - There's probably no one on the team with a larger arsenal of end zone dances, but of course part of that is no one gets into the end zone quite as much. Whether DeSean is doing a front flip, the dougie, or pulling the jerk or dropping off the ball before he even scores it's always an adventure when DeSean crosses the goal line. Sometimes, he even gets in other's celebrations...
Brent Celek - An unassuming guy off the field, but lets his emotions show when he's on. He's got his signature first down signal, but probably is best known for "The Captain Morgan Pose." Even PTI gave a whole segment to Celek's pose. The captain himself even responded...
Asante Samuel - It's hard to point to one particular thing, but there's no bigger mouth on the Eagles than Samuel. He talks a ton of trash, he celebrates with his signature arms folded/head nodding deal, and is always looking for the big play.

Celek
It has to be Celek. At least Djax and Samuel produce. They get the TDs and INT. All Celek does is act like 5 yr old when he finally gets a 1st down after dropping the last 4 passes.

Just like last year was a breakout year for Celek, he is not as bad as he has started this year. I expect him to be better the rest of the year. You were not saying this last year when celek was catching everything and scoring tds.
To ME <—— (hense IN MY OPINION) someone is “hot-doggin” when they are celebrating in such a way that is undeserved. YES Desean is flashy when he scores TD, YES Asante is looking for attention when he gets INTs. Im ok with that because they produce. What im NOT ok with, Celek celebrating a 1st down after he’s just dropped the last 4. Ok Your interpretation may be different, and if it is, fine! Whatever! Thats why we have these forums, so people can voice their opinions. But don’t be putting in words in my mouth on your assumptions…

Im not saying that I agree with either association of the word hot-doggin. Theres certainly a line to drawn as to what is seen as arrogant vs celebration intended to entertain. Personally I dont think you should ever have to “show-off” like that. But that being said, if youre going to do it, at least back it up with production.

How can it be anyone besides Desean?
Isn’t he basically a poster boy for hot-dogging? I get what BWest is saying above me, but I’ve never equated hot dogging with lack of production necessarily.

Every time I see him doing his head nodding thing after a play, I think, “Man, I am glad he is on my team. If he were on the opposing team, I think I would throw a shoe, bowling ball, grenade, etc, at his face on the t.v..” So obnoxious. But, since it’s for our team, I’ll let it slide!
The front flip into a split when he had a groin injury seals my vote for DJax.

I think it's DeSean
He’s definitely out there yappin’ a little and he’s going to celebrate when he scores. (My favorite was the time he did like a minute-long Riverdance. I think it was really “The Jerk”, but it looked like an awkward Irish jig to me)
And even though I think his ego is huge, unlike TO he seems to be pretty careful to try to say the right things to be uncontroversial, even though I think he’s a guy that reporters try to get to say controversial stuff about the QB situation.
Djax has the most swag hands down

When it comes to swag Asante Samuel has it especially the celebration with the folded arms and the nodding head is just a killer, and then Celek follows then the third best swag and pose is for DeSean Jackson but again this is just my opinion
