Im not too worried about Graham

Trent Cole hit a rookie wall too after 5 straight sacks. He was pretty quiet after that his rookie year. I figured an injury to graham might be the culprit. In any event, the quiet play of Celek is DEFINITELY shocking.

I'm a little worried

These guys always say “oh, yeah, feel good as new”/“I’m ready to get back out there” after they get injured. But it’s not like his ankle will never get hit again. High ankle sprains take a while to get over. Just a few weeks and he’s back to 100%? I’m dubious. Hell, a HA sprain is part of the reason Lindley’s stock dropped so much in the draft.

I won’t be surprised in the least to hear Spuds trot the “Graham wasn’t really fully recovered, but battled through it anyway” excuse in the offseason when he’s putting out the “let’s get excited for 2011” propaganda.

Graham will be fine....

Its good that he gets to experience these ups and downs this early in his career. He needs that experience. Hopefully his ankle heels up and he can contribute for the playoff run.

That article also revealed that Graham had a prostrate infection in addition to the ankle injury. I was surprised he even dressed for a few of those games
