Samuel, Parker & Dixon Questionable for Sunday
In his post-practice address to the media, Andy Reid stated that Asante Samuel, Juqua Parker, and Antonio Dixon will all be listed as "questionable" for Sunday's game against the Bears. Barring any setbacks, all three players will travel to Chicago and be game-time decisions.

If Parker can’t play, it wouldn’t be a big loss with Graham. But if Samuel and/or Dixon is out, well….ccccrrrraaaapppppp.
RIP Jim Johnson, best ever.
I think we could survive Dixon being out, as Bunkley could come in and do a serviceable job. Hanson starting in the place of Asante on the other hand…
The D line position would be just fine. Hanson will be just fine however I’m worried about our Lindley when the Nickle D in on the field. Also do we have enough DBs to put on the field when and if the dime package is out there.

I don't know
Hanson has proved he could be an adequate slot CB, but has more than once been burned on the outside. With Devin Hester and Johnny Knox, who are both blazing fast, I don’t know how you can not be worried about Hanson.
Praying the Asante will come back
Im sure he wants to play against the INT machine Cutler.
....Is on the Vick Bus, which oddly enough looks like a dog catchers truck!

Ugh
So what does the depth chart look like at CB if Samuel is out?
- Patterson
- Hanson
- Lindley
Hanson is just too slow to play on the outside. Patterson also struggles at times. This isn’t a good enough overall defense to miss a player like Samuel or Cole.
My bet is that Knox has at least 1 big play and has a day where he has close to 100 receiving yards if Samuel is out.
Not too worried. And here's why:
Our pass rush. That Bears O-line is downright awful. They won’t give Cutler ANY time in the pocket. Period.
Eagles fault for
going into the season with ?? at the CB postion ( outside of Samuel ).
I don’t mind Patterson, thought he hsould have been in over Hobbs since week 1 but him as the #1 CB scares me. What scares me worse is Hanson as the #2 vs fast wrs or big wrs…which sums up alot of the nfl.
It would be unfair to LIndley to put him out there @ the #2 but hell, if the Birds go up early and big, i could see them rotating him to the outside to give him some looks.
Will someone explain to me why Samuels might be out?

I heard in the interview with Adam Caplan and Spadaro that it was a partial MC tear, but the way that Reid was talking in the interview today none of these injuries sound all that serious. We’ll see what happens though.
Smokey, this is not 'Nam.
Ruh Roh!

Sorry I got distracted there…..a partial MC tear is NOT GOOD. We could lose him for the year if partial becomes fully in the next few weeks….
