The Eagles have officially placed CB Ellis Hobbs on injured reserve and have agreed to terms with CB Brandon Hughes, who was previously on the New York Giants practice squad.
Hughes played his college ball at Oregon St. and was originally drafted by the San Diego Chargers in 2009. He spent that year on the Chargers practice squad and this season on the Giants practice squad. He has appeared in one NFL game for the Chargers last season
