Brian Dawkins likely to be done in Denver
Monday’s night’s 35-14 loss in San Diego will go down as one of the uglier games of safety Brian Dawkins‘ illustruous career. He missed a tackle that led to a long Patrick Crayton touchdown, and couldn’t handle running back Darren Sproles when he caught a pass and took it the distance. After the game, Dawkins remained in the locker room long after most of his teammates had departed. "I’m going to continue to fight. That’s just what I do," Dawkins told Mark Kiszla of the Denver Post. "It’s just a frustrating thing when you’re out there on the field and you start thinking too much."
